one other thing, why do you need to have ads displayed on your blog page; do you write well so that readers come so that they click on ads, and u earn money? Is the purpose of this blog commerce?
 

Neither. Just "SCSN" is the purpose :-)

I don't "need" to have ads displayed. I simply wanted to know and learn first-hand how the system works, what is the click-through rate and if the fundamentals of advertisement based revenue remain the same even on such a small-scale.

Had money been the purpose, I would have been more aggressive with content as well as displaying of ads.
